Mythic Bodies & Hybrid Figures brings together sculptural bodies that merge the human, animal, mechanical and ceremonial. Torsos are altered by horns, wings, trumpets or mask-like openings; simplified figures move between archetype and invention. The collection is concerned with identity as something constructed and unstable, using hybrid anatomy and symbolic appendages to create works that feel simultaneously ancient, theatrical and speculative.
